Edit and manage names

Once you have stored names in your phonebook, press +when in idle mode to access the Names list.

Thanks to the built-in predictive editor, you can search for a name in the phonebook the same way you enter it (see page 6): when the names list is displayed on screen, press -(Search) then quickly press -only once- each key corresponding to the first letters needed to spell a name (e.g., 62 7for "mar" starting "Martin"). Keystrokes input are analysed and the name starting with these letters is selected in the list.

L You can also press 2or 8to browse the list until you reach the wanted record.

You can also select the Look for... item of the list and press +. An editing screen appears, allowing you to enter the name you are looking for. Using this menu option requires you press a key as many times as is equal to the order of the letter (e.g., press 2 times 4in order to reach and enter the letter "h"). Then press +to jump directly to the name you typed.

Once you have selected a name, press 4or 6to select the previous or next field available if you entered several numbers for this name (e.g., phone number, e-mail address and note). Depending on the phonebook you have selected, pressing ,will give you access to part or all of the following

options:
•	call	•	delete	•	copy to phone
• associate a voice dial		•	change name	•	copy to SIM
•	flash dial	•	send a message	•	show
•	transmit record	•	change type	•	include in a group

In the SIM card

Select a name in the SIM card phonebook and press ,to access one of the following options:

-Delete to delete the selected name and number,

-Change to change the selected name and all related information,
