Pair and use a PC or PDA

A PC or PDA must also be paired with your mobile phone via the Bluetooth, Data, Discoverable submenu.

L You must turn on both devices before running the pairing process. In this mode, your mobile phone is detected by the PC or the PDA, from which you must launch the pairing process which should take place within 1mn50s.

The pairing process will take place on both the mobile and the external device, and the same pairing code must be entered on both devices. If not supplied with your Bluetooth device or card, you can enter the code of your choice.

Then refer to your PC or PDA user guide for configuration information. Up to three data profiles corresponding to the different hardware you will use can be managed from the Profiles menu of your phone, and will allow you to switch from one to another, depending on your needs. This menu will also let you set a Default profile (e.g. the profile of the most used device), Change it or Delete it (see page 72).
