Hotkeys

Instead of entering the various menus and browsing the lists, you can set a direct access to a specific function by linking it to a Hotkey, so that a long press on this key will automatically activate this function.

L You can only program keys 2to 9, as keys 0(select language) and 1(retrieve voice mailbox) are predefined and cannot be changed.

1To set a hotkey, press ,, select Settings > Hotkeys and press ,.

2Select a key from 2to 9and press ,.

3Browse the list to select the function you wish to associate with this key. Press ,to confirm your choice.

L If the selected key is already set, you can reprogram it: press ,twice, select Change and press ,. This will bring you to the list of available functions.

4To use the hotkeys, simply press and hold the key corresponding to the function you want to launch or activate while in idle mode.

L You can also set hotkeys for voice dial (see “Voice dial” page 17). Depending on your service provider some Hotkeys, in addition to 0and 1, can be predefined and locked, preventing reprogramming.

You can associate hotkeys 2to 9to the functions of the following table.
