Write and send e-mails

The Send mail menu allows you to send e-mails to one or several recipients at Send mail a time, including with an attachment such as a jpeg image. Once received, your messages can be forwarded and the attachments visualised with the

appropriate software.

To one or several recipients

1Press ,and select E-mail, then Mailbox 1 or Mailbox 2 depending on the one you wish to use. Select Send mail and press ,.

2Move -to select Add addressee and press ,to access the list.

L If you select the phonebook "On SIM card", you will not be able to access any e-mail address, but an edit window will allow you to enter one. See “Phonebook” page 41 for information on phonebook selection.

3Select a name in the list and press ,to add it to your mailing list or press eto cancel and go back to the previous sub-menu.

4Back to the Addressees list, press ,to Change the e-mail address or to Remove it from the list, or select Add addressee, press ,to access the

phonebook again and add new names to the mailing list.

5Repeat steps 2 to 4 to add as many recipients as wanted.

6Select Validate list and press ,. Then enter the subject of your e-mail (you can leave this field empty) and press ,.

7In the next window, enter the text of your e-mail (you can also leave this field empty). Press ,when ready to send your e-mail.

L To learn how to enter text, see “Text or number entry” page 4. If you exit the Send e-mailmenu before sending your e-mail, its content is deleted without being stored.

Select Modify mail and press ,if you want to change the content of your

e-mail. This takes you back to step 2: follow the instructions from there

 

to complete the list of recipients and send your e-mail.

Select Send now and press ,to send your e-mail. Your mobile phone

Send now

connects to the Internet server, sends your e-mail to the names present

 

in your mailing list, then disconnects.

L You can cancel this operation by pressing and holding the ekey. Your mobile will then disconnect from the network, exit the e-mail menu and go back to idle.
