Install the Back-up Battery

Remove the cover from the battery compartment.

Insert the back-up battery and replace the cover.

Notes:

The back-up battery is intended for back-up purposes and must be installed for your Wireless Home Phone base to operate. It may take five (5) hours to fully charge (battery will charge inside the device while connected to a power supply).

Charge time may be impacted by environmental factors, and the battery will stop charging when the ambient temperature is outside of the temperature range allowed for charging (32 °F – 131 °F).

Remove the back-up battery if the device will be unused for a long period of time to avoid possible damage.
