ROTATING BEZEL

The rotating bezel enables divers to measure both dive time and any other lapse of time. To measure time, simply turn the bezel to position the index (0 or 60) exactly opposite the minute hand. The position of this hand in relation to the bezel will then indicate the time elapsed since setting the bezel.

WATER RESISTANCE

Please check the details on the back of your Victorinox Swiss Army timepiece case and read the following information carefully:

Water-resistant to 3 ATM (100 feet/30 meters). Resistant to rain and splashes and accidental immersion, but must not be worn in the shower or when swimming.

Water-resistant to 5 ATM (165 feet/50 meters). May be worn in the shower or when swimming in shallow water. Do not wear when diving.

Water-resistant to 10 ATM (330 feet/100 meters). May be worn when swimming or snorkelling.

Water-resistant to 30 ATM (990 feet/300 meters). May be worn when swimming or free diving and scuba diving.

Water-resistant to 50 ATM (1650 feet/500 meters). May be worn when swimming or deep-sea diving.

The water resistance of your timepiece cannot be guaranteed indefinitely as joints may age; crowns or pushers may sustain knocks and climate or temperature may vary. We therefore recommend that you have the water resistance of your timepiece checked every 18 months or when the timepiece case is opened at an authorized Victorinox Swiss Army Service Center.

Never operate the crown and/or pushers when the timepiece is underwater and ensure that the crown and pushers are properly pushed back or screwed down after each use.

METER/BAR CORRELATION

Meter and bar are different things: underwater, there is combined air and water pressure. A depth of 10 meters equals 1 bar of water pressure and 1 bar of atmospheric pressure above water level, therefore 2 bars in total.

Renowned for their unwavering quality and durability, these watches embody the spirit of adventure while offering exceptional functionality. Each model is a reflection of Swiss craftsmanship, ensuring that every timepiece is not only beautiful but also built to withstand the rigors of daily life.

One of the most notable features of Victorinox Swiss Army watches is their robust construction. Crafted from high-quality stainless steel, these timepieces boast resistance to corrosion, scratches, and impacts, making them ideal for both urban and outdoor settings. Many models are equipped with a water resistance rating of up to 200 meters, allowing them to thrive in aquatic environments, a significant advantage for adventurers and athletes alike.

Technologically, Victorinox watches integrate impressive movements such as Swiss quartz and automatic mechanisms. The Swiss quartz movement provides accurate timekeeping with minimal maintenance, while the automatic movement harnesses kinetic energy for those who prefer a self-winding option. Some collections incorporate the sophisticated Ronda movement, further emphasizing precision and reliability.

Another standout characteristic is the versatility of designs available within the Victorinox Swiss Army line. From classic minimalist aesthetics to bold and sporty designs, there is a timepiece catering to every style preference. The luminous hands and hour markers on many models provide enhanced visibility in low-light conditions, ensuring that wearers can always read the time clearly, regardless of the environment.

The chronograph function, featured in several models, adds a layer of practicality for those who engage in timing activities. These watches often come with additional features like tachymeters and dual-time zones, making them suitable for global travelers or those needing precise timing for various activities.

Victorinox also emphasizes sustainability in its production processes. Many of their watch models incorporate eco-friendly materials and production methods, underscoring their commitment to both quality and environmental responsibility.

In sum, Victorinox Swiss Army Timepieces offer a compelling blend of reliability, elegance, and advanced technology. Whether for everyday wear or extreme conditions, these watches are designed to perform and endure, making them a worthy investment for anyone seeking a dependable companion on life’s adventures.
