FEATURES OF THE CONSOLE

The treadmill console offers an impressive selection of features designed to make your workouts more effec- tive and enjoyable. When the manual mode of the con- sole is selected, the speed and incline of the treadmill can be changed with the touch of a button. As you ex- ercise, the console will display continuous exercise feedback. You can even measure your heart rate using the handgrip pulse sensor.

In addition, the console features sixteen preset work- outs. Each workout automatically controls the speed and incline of the treadmill as it guides you through an effective exercise session. You can even create your own custom workouts and save them for future use. You can also listen to your favorite workout music or audio books with the consoleʼs premium stereo sound system.

To turn on the power, see page 16. To use the man- ual mode, see page 16. To use a preset workout, see page 19. To create and use a custom workout, see pages 20 and 21. To use the information mode, see page 22. To use the stereo sound system, see page 22.

IMPORTANT: If there is a sheet of clear plastic on the face of the console, remove the plastic. To pre- vent damage to the walking platform, wear clean athletic shoes while using the treadmill. The first time the treadmill is used, observe the alignment of the walking belt, and center the walking belt if nec- essary (see page 27).

Note: The console can display speed and distance in either miles or kilometers. To find out which unit of measurement is selected or to change the unit of mea- surement, see THE INFORMATION MODE on page 22. For simplicity, all instructions in this section refer to miles.
