You can enjoy a surround effect while listening through headphones.

This only functions for disc/USB mass storage class device playback.

This does not function for MPEG-1/MPEG-2/ASF/DivX discs.

SURR OFF

SURR ON Creates a dynamic sound through the headphones.

If you plug in the headphones while 3D Phonic is activated, Headphone Surround turns to SURR ON automatically.

When 3D Phonic is OFF and Headphone Surround is SURR ON, unplugging the headphones turns 3D Phonic to ACTION.

Presetting Automatic DVD Video Sound

Increase Level

DVD Video sound is sometimes recorded at a lower level than other discs and sources. You can set the increase level for the currently loaded DVD Video, so you do not have to adjust the volume when you change the source.

• This only functions for DVD Video and DVD-VR format disc.

HIGH

NORMAL Original recording level.

MIDDLE Output level is increased (less than “HIGH”).

HIGH Output level is increased (more than “MIDDLE”). (initial setting)
