Maintenance and Cleaning

Washing machine drum

The washing machine drum is made from rust-free stainless steel. Any objects left in the laundry which are likely to rust can stain the drum.

Important! Do not clean the stainless steel drum with descaling agents containing acids, scouring agents containing chlorine or iron or steel wool.

0Remove rust stains on the drum with a stainless steel cleaning agent.

Door

0Regularly check if there are deposits or foreign bodies in the rubber seal behind the door and remove them.

Precautionary measures in the event of a risk of frost

3 If the washing machine is located where temperatures may fall below 0 °C the following precautions must be taken:

0Turn off water tap.

0Empty the appliance (see “Carrying out an emergency emptying“)

0Disconnect the inlet hose.
