Tips on safety when installing

Do not tilt the appliance on the front edge, or on the right side (looking from the front). Electrical components may become wet!

Check the machine for damage that may have occurred in transit. Damaged equipment must not in any circumstances be connected. In the event of damage, please contact your supplier.

Check that all locking devices have been removed and that the water seal is present on the appliance (see “Removing the locking devices”. Otherwise, damage might result to the appliance or nearby furniture during the spin cycle.

Insert the plug into an appropriately earthed socket.

Permanent connections: Permanent connections should only be car- ried out by an authorised technician.

Before putting into operation, make sure that the nominal voltage and type of current indicated on the specifications label match those of the local mains supply. The correct electrical protection can also be decided according to the specifications label.

Should work be carried out on the water supply installations in order to allow the machine to be connected properly to the water supply, this work must be carried out by an authorised installer.

Should work be carried out on the mains supply in order to allow the machine to be connected properly to the electricity supply, this work must be carried out by an authorised electrician.

The power cable should be replaced only by an authorised electrician.
