USING THE FABRIC STEAMER

OPERATING THE FABRIC STEAMER

1.Make sure that Water Tank is filled with water and placed correctly onto main unit, and that Fabric Brush is securely attached if you wish to use it.

2.Plug power cord into a convenient 3-prong electrical outlet (FIGURE 12).

3.Switch Lighted On/Off Switch to “On” position (FIGURE 13).

4.Unit requires approximately 35-40 seconds for boiler to heat. Once it has heated, Fabric Steamer will begin producing a flow of steam.

NOTE: It is common for unit to produce gurgling sounds and small amounts of water during the first few minutes of steaming. This is a natural part of the steaming process. Pointing Steam Nozzle towards the ground and shaking it gently may help to remove excess water from Steam Hose more quickly (FIGURE 14).

5.Once steam flow is steady and excess water has been removed from Steam Hose, you may proceed with your steaming tasks. Refer to Tips for Using the Fabric Steamer guide on page 12 of this manual for more information about steaming garments and other fabrics.

6.When you have completed your steaming tasks, immediately switch Lighted On/Off Switch to “Off” position and unplug power cord from electrical outlet. Refer to Proper Storage section on page 13 of this manual for information on proper cleaning and storage of Fabric Steamer.
