An alarm code indicates a fault in the machine operation (see the relevant chapter).

8Programme phase indicator lights

When you select a programme, the lights relevant to the phases that form the programme light up.

After you have started the programme, only the light relevant to the phase that is currently being carried out will remain lit.

When the programme has finished, the “End” light comes on.

The “End” pilot light flashes in the event of operating problems. And the relative alarm code appears on the display.

E10 = the machine does not fill

E20 = the machine does not empty

E40 = the door has not been closed

To eliminate the problem, see paragraph “Something not working” (pages 25-26).

ATTENTION!

If you turn the programme selector dial to another programme when the machine is working, all the lights of the programme progress display will flash for about 2 seconds but the washing machine will not perform the new selected programme.
