MP3 OPERATIONS

Playing an MP3 disc

1 Open the control panel.

The control panel moves down, and the loading slot appears.

2 Insert an MP3 disc into the loading slot.

The unit draws the disc, the control panel goes back to its previous position (see page 42) and playback starts automatically.

The display changes to show the following:

CD-in indicator lights up.

DIRECTORY

FILE

Ex.: When the disc contains 13 directories and 125 MP3 files.

Playback starts automatically from the first file

of the first directory once file check is

completed.

Then, the display changes to show the

following:

When “TAG DISP” is set to “ON” (initial setting: see page 40)

Directory name

&

File name

Album name/performer*

&

Track title*

Track title (file name)

&

Elapsed playing time (with track No.**)

*If an MP3 file does not have ID3 tags, album name/performer and track title will be skipped.

**When the source symbol animation display is not selected.
