To skip to the next directory on the same hierarchy level (only within the same parent directory)

On the remote controller:

PRESET	Each time you press the button
	consecutively, the next directory
	on the same hierarchy level is
	located (and the first file in the
	directory starts playing, if
	recorded).

On the remote controller:

Note:

If there is no MP3 file in a directory that you have skipped to, “MP3” flashes on the display. If this happens, the unit pauses automatically.

To skip to the directories on the upper hierarchy levels

On the remote controller:

DISC	Each time you press the button
	consecutively, a directory on the
	upper hierarchy level is located
	(and the first file in the directory
	starts playing, if recorded).

• If you reach the root, playback will not begin.

To go back to the root directly, press R•D on the remote controller. You can go back to the root from any directory.

•If files are recorded on the first hierarchy level without putting them into a directory, this unit starts playing the files.
