-Ifan
outsideantenna or cable system is connected to
theproduct, be sure the antenna or cable system is
groundedso as to provide some protection against
voltagesurges and built-up static charges.
Belowdiagram provides information with regard to
propergrounding of the mast and supporting structure,
groundingof the lead-in wire to an antenna
dischargeunit, size of grounding conductors,
locationof antenna-discharge unit, connection to
groundingelectrodes, and requirementsforthe g
roundingelectrode. See Figure 1.
-For added protection for this
productduring a lightning storm, or when it is left
unattendedand unused for long periods of time,
unplugit from the wall outlet and disconnect the
antennaor cable system. This will prevent damage
tothe product due to lightning and power-line surges.
-An outside antenna system
shouldnot be located in the vicinity of overhead
powerlines or other electric light or power circuits,
orwhere it can fall into such power lines or other
electriclight or power circuits. When installing an
outsideantenna system, extreme care should be
takento keep from touching power lines or circuits
ascontact with them might be fatal.
-Do not overload wall outlets,
extensioncords, or integral convenience receptacles
as this can result in a risk of fire or electric shock.
-Never push
objectsof any kind into this product through
openingsas they may touch dangerous voltage
pointsor short-out parts that could result in a fire or
electricshock. Never spill liquid of any kind on the
product.
-Do not attempt to service this
productyourself as opening or removing covers may
exposeyou to dangerous voltage or other hazards.
Referall servicing to qualified service personnel.
.NONUSE PERIODS - The power cord of the
productshould be unplugged from the outlet when
leftunused for long periods of time.

Keepminimum distances (5cm) around the apparatus
forsufficient ventilation.
Theventilation should not be impeded by covering the
rearpanel for ventilation with items, such as newspapers,
table-cloths,curtains, etc.
Nonaked flame sources, such as lighted candles,
shouldbe placed on the apparatus.
Don’tuse the apparatus in tropical climates.
Wherethe mains plug is used as the disconnect
device,the disconnect device shall remain readily
operable.
Theapparatus shall not be exposed to dripping or
splashingand that no objects filled with liquids, such as

Ifyour TV does not have P-Scan function, pressing VIDEO button on the
remotemay cause this. Press VIDEO button again to rectify.
Ensurethat the equipment is connected properly.
Ensurethat the TV or audio equipments are not muted.
Ensurethat the audio output setting is correct.
Thepicture will be somewhat distorted at times.
Thisis normal advance or reverse.
Choosethe correct setup at TV TYPE item that matches the TV set.
Checkthe batteries being installed with correct polarities.
Replacethe batteries depleted. Point at remote control sensor and
operateit within 5 meters.
Turnthe unit off and then back to on.Alternatively, turn off the unit,
disconnectthe AC power cord for 5 to 10 minutes and then reconnect it.
Ifthe audio soundtrack and/or subtitle language does not exist in the
disc,the language selected at the initial settings will not be seen/heard.
Alternativeaudio soundtrack (or An alternative language is not selected
withdiscs which contain subtitle) language cannot be more than one
languageselected.
Thisfunction depends on software availability.
Evenif a disc has a number of angles recorded,
theseangles may be recorded for specific scenes only.
Thisfunction is suitable for VCD with playback control disc.
