QUICK START GUIDE

NOTE: This Use and Care Guide covers several different models. Your dryer may not have all of the cycles and features described.

WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury to persons, read the IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS before operating this appliance. The following is a guide to using your dryer.

Please refer to specific sections of this manual for more detailed information.

START

1. Clean lint screen before each load.

2. Place laundry in dryer and shut door.

3. Press POWER • CANCEL.

4.Select a cycle.

5.Press and Hold START • PAUSE to start.

USING SENSOR CYCLES

Sensor Cycles automatically match the cycle setting to the type of load, and adjust drying time for optimal performance. See the “Cycle Setting Chart.”

1.Press POWER • CANCEL.

2.Select a Sensor Cycle.

3. Select WRINKLE PREVENT feature, if desired.

4.Press and Hold START • PAUSE.

To make changes during a Sensor Cycle:

1.Press START • PAUSE.

2.Select SENSOR CYCLES DRYNESS or Option.

3. Press and Hold START • PAUSE.

NOTE: For the Sanitize Cycle (on some models), do not interrupt the cycle to ensure sanitization.

USING TIMED CYCLES

Use a time cycle to set a drying time and temperature.

1.Press POWER • CANCEL.

2.Rotate the dial to select a Timed Cycle.

3. Press the TIME ADJUST up or down buttons until the desired drying time is displayed.

4.Press TIMED CYCLES TEMP until the desired temperature glows.

Select the WRINKLE PREVENT feature, if desired.

5.Press and Hold START • PAUSE.

TIMED DRY - Select this cycle to control time and temperature.

AIR DRY - Use Air Dry with TIMED DRY for items requiring drying without heat.

TOUCH UP - Select this cycle to help remove wrinkles from clean, dry clothes.

QUICK DRY - Select this cycle to dry small or loads requiring less drying time.

SIGNALS

CYCLE SIGNAL - Select ON or OFF, to alert you when a cycle ends.

DAMP DRY SIGNAL - Select ON or OFF, to alert you when your clothes are 80% dry.

STEAM CYCLES

Steam Cycles use water and heat to reduce wrinkles and odors in dry items.

See “Cycles” for more details.

1.Press POWER • CANCEL.

2.Select a Steam Cycle.

3. Press and Hold START • PAUSE.

STOPPING YOUR DRYER

To stop the dryer at any time- Press POWER • CANCEL once or open the door.

PAUSING OR RESTARTING

To pause the dryer at any time - Open the door or press START • PAUSE once.

To restart the dryer - Close the door and press and hold START • PAUSE button until dryer starts.
