6.8 CHANGING COG TO TRUE OR MAGNETIC

Allows customising the NAV data showing GPS Course Over Ground (COG). Factory default is True however following the steps below the COG can be changed to Magnetic.

1. Press and hold down the [CALL(MENU)] key until “Radio Setup” menu appears.

2. Press the [ENT] key, then select “Magnetic” with the CHANNEL selector knob.

3. Press the [ENT] key.

4. Turn the CHANNEL selector knob to select “On” (rep- resenting “Magnetic”) or “Off” (representing “True”).

5. Press the [ENT] key to store the selected setting. 6. Turn the CHANNEL selector knob to select “Exit,”

then press the [ENT] key to return to the “Radio Setup” menu, select “Exit” and press the [ENT] key to return to radio operation.
