2.Installation of the spinnaker trumpet
Position the spinnaker trumpet on the boom taking into consideration two parameters :
-Once the sock is taut it should be at about 10 cm behind the front crossbar,
-The mouth should be perpendicular to the pulley at the end of the boom.
Drill the boom with a 8 mm bit through the holes of the trumpet; screw to the boom with the screws that are supplied.
The sock should be taut with the least folds possible.
Take the holding rope of the trumpet and make a loop around the spinnaker boom, hold in place with a bowline knot, then tighten the end through the opening of the trumpet and bring to be attached to the bridle support on the hull.
