Rigging the boat : Main sail
Rigging tension
Before hoisting all of the sails, the rigging tension must be adjusted. Please read the tuning guide at the end of this manual. Tighten the central tension of the spinnaker pole.
Unfold the main sail on the trampoline and insert the battens into their sleeves. The battens are numbered (1 to 7) from the smallest N° 1 (at the top of the sail) to the longest N° 7 (at the bottom of the sail). Attach the ends of the battens with the laces as in the photo.
1.Battens
Pass the two ends of the laces into the hole in the batten.
Then through the eyelet on the sail from the outside.
Tie a reef knot over the laces.
Tighten and slip the two ends into the batten sleeve.
