Trip Calculator

The Trip Calculator processes information on your current path and dis- plays it in an easy to read format. When activated, it shows your current, average, and maximum speed, trip time and distance.

To turn the Trip Calculator on, press the Menu key twice, then select “Trip Calculator”. A screen similar to the one at right appears. Now select “Trip Active” and press the ENT key. The unit be- gins calculating speed and dis- tance data and displays it in the appropriate boxes on this screen.

You can reset any of the param-

eters by selecting the appropriate button on the screen and pressing the ENT key.

Press the Exit key to erase the screen.

Timers/Alarm Clock

The LCX-15CI/15CT has two tim- ers and an alarm clock. One timer counts down and the other counts up. The countdown timer counts down from the time that you enter until it reaches zero. The countup timer starts at zero and counts up to the time you entered. The alarm clock sounds a tone at the set time.

To set a timer or the alarm clock. press the MENU key twice, then select “Timers”. The screen shown above appears. Select the appropriate timer or alarm. In the example at right, the up timer was selected. Select and enter the time that you wish the timer to run, then select “Up Timer” and press the ENT key. The timer be- gins running until it reaches the time you entered.
