S t rum the SAME string you have just tuned to your re f e rence pitch. When this string’s LED shines solid g reen its frequency has been measured and store d . Now strum all strings, and the Powertune system will tune your guitar to ‘normal tuning’ based on your chosen re f e rence string. (LEDs will behave the same as during normal tuning.) When the re f e rence tuning is achieved, the “I” will flash on and off in blue.
Should you wish to store your new ‘Reference Tu n i n g , ’ simply turn the MCK to one of the factory pre s e t positions (E, A, D, G, B, or e) and press the display once. The display LEDs will flash blue 3 times to indicate your new Reference Tuning has been store d at that position, and can be recalled in the same manner as any other preset by choosing that position.
(Remember that you don’t have to “store” your new R e f e rence Tuning. Simply push the MCK back into n o rmal position and you are ready to go!)
