1 MULTI JOG dial

Use the MULTI JOG dial to select various settings and menu options.

2 STANDBY/ON

Switches the receiver between on and standby. Power indicator lights when the receiver is on.

3PHASE CONTROL – Press to switch on/off Basic Phase Control (page 10).

ACOUSTIC EQ – Press to select an Acoustic Calibration EQ setting (page 28).

LISTENING MODE – Use with the MULTI JOG dial to select the various listening modes (page 26).

4PHASE CONTROL indicator

Lights when Basic Phase Control is switched on (page 10).

5DIGITAL PRECISION PROCESSING indicator Lights to indicate digital processing (for example, it disappears when listening through the multichannel analog inputs).

6Character display

7 Remote sensor

Receives the signals from the remote control (see Operating range of remote control unit on page 22).

8 MCACC indicator

Lights when Acoustic Calibration EQ (page 35) is on (Acoustic Calibration EQ is automatically set to ALL CH ADJUST after the Auto MCACC Setup (page 8) or EQ Auto Setup (page 35)).

9SIGNAL SELECT – Use to select an input signal (page 29).

SBch PROCESSING – Selects the surround back channel mode (page 29) or virtual surround back mode (page 29).

SOUND RETRIEVER – Press to restore CD quality sound to compressed audio sources (page 30).
