RP21D User’s Guide Section Four - Utilities

Bank Names

You can assign custom names to every Bank in the RP21D. The Procedure for naming your Banks is as follows:

1. Press the Utility button once. Use the Next or Previous Page buttons until you reach page 12 of the utilities. The Display reads:

2.Press the number two button and rotate the Data Wheel to select the Bank that you wish to rename.

3.Press the number four button and rotate the Data Wheel. This will take you to the Name menu. Please see page 47 for Naming instructions.

Volume Pedal Update

The RP21D has the ability to update the position of the expression controller pedal when it is assigned to Volume within any program. This means that the volume pedals position will correspond to the volume setting after changing the ProgramTo enable this feature, the procedure is as follows:

1. Press the Utility button once. Use the Next or Previous Page buttons until you reach page 16. This display should look like this:

2. To enable this Volume Pedal update rotate the Data Wheel until the display says On.

Now in any Program where the expression pedal is assigned to the Volume parameter, the expression pedal’s current position will be updated when that preset is selected.

Factory Reset

This function resets the RP21D to its original factory settings. This procedure will erase all custom user Programs, Defaults and Utility settings.

ATTENTION: This procedure will erase all user settings in the RP21D. Be sure you want to erase the memory and start fresh before continuing with this procedure.

To perform a Factory Reset, do the following:

1. Press the Utility button once. Use the Next or Previous Page buttons until you reach page13 of the utility menu. The Display reads:
