◗Cuando vaya a deshacerse de este aparato, no lo tire con la basura normal del hogar; deposítelo en un punto de recogida oficial para su reciclado.Al hacerlo, contribuirá a preservar el medio ambiente (fig. 19).

Cómo ahorrar energía

Si no va a utilizar el aparato durante mucho tiempo, desenchufe el adaptador de la red para ahorrar energía.

Cómo deshacerse de las baterías

Las baterías de NiCd o de NiMH pueden ser perjudiciales para el medio ambiente y pueden estallar si son expuestas a altas temperaturas o al fuego.

Las baterías contienen sustancias que pueden contaminar el medio ambiente. Quite siempre las baterías antes de deshacerse del aparato o de llevarlo a un punto de recogida oficial. Deposite las baterías en un punto de recogida oficial para baterías.

Quite las baterías sólo si están completamente descargadas.

1Deje que el aparato funcione hasta que se pare, desatorníllelo y ábralo (fig. 20).

2Corte, uno por uno, los hilos conectores y quite las baterías (fig. 21).
