f)If grill is to be stored, coat Burner lightly with cooking oil and wrap in a protective cover to keep insects out.

B)Lantern Burner:

a)Remove the top cover and glass globe. Open up clogged burner holes with a small nail or wire. (FIG. 19A) Normal wear and corrosion could enlarge some holes, however, if large cracks or holes are found, replace the Burner. Note: It is normal for surface rust to be present on the burners.

b)Remove the two screws from the housing. (FIG. 19B) Hold the knob and lift the housing off. Check the burner inlet holes. Use a pipe cleaner to clear insect nests from the Burner inlet hole. (FIG. 19C) Replace the housing and two screws.

6)After cleaning, re-install Main Grill Burner. Replace Grease Container and Cooking Grid. Note: When refitting the Burner, be sure it is positioned correctly. The valve should protrude inside the venturi end of the burner. (FIG. 18G) Re-tighten the Main Burner screw . (FIG. 18C)

7)Check burner operation after re-assembly.
