32-C. When using the SHORT SPIT ROD, remove Handle immediately after placing Rotisserie into the Firebox. Since the handle is inside the Firebox, damage will occur if the Handle is not removed prior to cooking.

CAUTION

DO NOT OPERATE THE GRILL WITH THE ROTISSERIE HANDLE ON THE SHORT SPIT ROD.

33-A. Loosely assemble the Rotisserie parts as shown in Figure 33-A. Do not tighten the thumbscrews until properly positioned in the grill.

33-B. Insert the Spit Rod into the Motor. Make sure the machined groove is toward the handle.

ÖPlace Slip Collar on Firebox Wall. Make sure the pointed tip of the Spit Rod stays in the Motor.

ÖPush Set Collar against the Slip Collar, provide a small gap to allow the Spit Rod to freely turn.

ÖTighten the thumbscrews on the Set Collar and the Forks to hold in place.
