You must set up the Fibre Channel disk drives in the shared storage subsystem for clustering. The first step is to configure the RAID level for the shared storage sub- system using the Dell OpenManage Data Supervisor or, if available, Data Administrator. Refer to the Dell OpenManage Data Supervisor Installation and Opera- tion Guide or the Dell OpenManage Data Administrator Installation and Operation Guide for instructions on setting up a RAID in the PowerVault storage system.

Like Windows NT Server, Enterprise Edition, you must install the Cluster Server soft- ware on both nodes if it has not already been done. Refer to the Microsoft Cluster Server Administrator’s Guide for instructions on installing and configuring the cluster- ing software. Also refer to Chapter 3, “Configuring the Cluster Software,” in this guide for specific information about installing and configuring Microsoft Cluster Server on your PowerEdge Cluster FE100.
NOTE: When you set up the Microsoft Cluster Server software, Dell recommends that you create a new domain account for the cluster administrator. Do not use the current administrator account or any other account whose password changes frequently.
