30 SIDE BURNER TROUBLESHOOTING

PROBLEM	CHECK	CURE
Side Burner does not light.	Is gas supply off?	Turn supply on.
	The excess fl ow safety device,	To reset the excess fl ow safety device turn all burner control
	which is part of the barbecue to	knobs and the cylinder valve OFF. Disconnect the regulator
	cylinder connection, may have	from the cylinder. Turn burner control knobs to HIGH. Wait at
	activated.	least 1 minute. Turn burner control knobs OFF. Reconnect the
		regulator to the cylinder. Turn cylinder valve on slowly. Refer to
		“Lighting Instructions”.
Flame is low in HIGH position	Is the fuel hose bent or kinked?	Straighten hose.
Push button ignition does not	Does burner light with a match?	If match lights burner, check igniter (see below).

SIDE BURNER MAINTENANCE

WARNING: All gas controls and supply valves should be in the OFF position.

Make sure black wire is connected between the igniter and electrode

(1). Make sure white wire is connected between the igniter and grounding clip

(2). Spark should be a white/blue color, not yellow.
