Drop-in Armrest Removal

 

The drop-in armrests can be removed to aid in trans-

 

fers or transporting your wheelchair.

 

To remove the armrest:

 

1. Squeeze the armrest latch. See figure 29.

 

2. Pull the armrest up.

 

3. Repeat for the other side if necessary.

Drop-in Armrest Height Adjustment

 

You can adjust the drop-in armrest height to five posi-

 

tions in 1-in. (2.54-cm) increments.

To adjust the drop-in armrest:

1.Pull back the release lever located on the armrest.

See figure 30.

2.Move the armrest up or down.

3.Release the release lever.

4.Make sure the armrest latches into place.

5.Repeat for the other side if necessary.

Flip-up Armrest Height Adjustment

You can adjust both the latching and non-latching flip- up armrest height to eight positions in 1-in. (2.54-cm) increments.

To adjust the flip-up armrest height:

1.Remove the armrest height adjustment screws. See figure 31.

2.Move the armrest up or down.

3.Reinstall the armrest height adjustment screws.

4.Repeat for the other side if necessary.
