5.Engage the wheel lock and note the position of the blade.

6.Reposition the wheel lock if necessary.

7.Repeat the procedure for the other side.

WARNING! A Quantum Rehab Provider should adjust the wheel lock with the occupant in the wheelchair on the maximum incline to ensure that the wheel lock catches properly.

When to See Your Quantum Rehab Provider for Service

The following symptoms could indicate a serious problem with your wheelchair. If necessary, contact your Quantum Rehab Provider. When calling, have the model number, serial number, and nature of the problem.

„Uneven wear on any of the tires

„Bent or broken wheel assemblies

„Loose or missing hardware that attaches the transit securement brackets or positioning belt anchors to the wheelchair.
