Seat Angle (Dump) Adjustment

The position of the caster wheels affects the angle (dump) of the seat. By changing the location of the caster wheel on the fork, you change the seat angle.

NOTE: You can also adjust the seat angle by raising or lowering the drive wheel. See “Drive Wheel Adjust- ment.”

To change the seat angle:

1.Remove the hardware that fastens the caster wheel to the caster fork.

2.Reposition the caster wheel on the caster fork.

3.Reinstall the hardware that fastens the caster wheel to the caster fork.

4.Repeat the procedure for the other side, making sure both caster wheels are adjusted to the same position.

WARNING! Changing the seat angle may adversely affect stability and cause the wheelchair to tip over.
