To adjust the anti-tip wheels:

 

1.

Push the button on both sides of the anti-tip wheel

at the same time and move the anti-tip wheel up or

 

down to unlock it. See figure 20.

ADJUSTMENT

Adjust the anti-tip wheel to the desired position

while aligning the anti-tip wheel with the

Ensure that both buttons lock into place. You will

 

 

hear a click when the anti-tip wheel is locked into

After installing or adjusting the anti-tip wheels,

Seatback Angle Adjustment

 

Your Litestream XF may be equipped with angle-

 

adjustable back canes. If your wheelchair is equipped

 

with a depth-adjustable side from, the seatback angle

 

can be adjusted to 80°-120° in 5° increments.

 

Otherwise, the seatback angle can be adjusted to 85°-

 

105° in 5° increments.

 

To adjust the seatback angle of the Litestream XF:

 

1.

Remove the drive wheel. See figure 15.

 

2.

Remove the angle adjustment screw and loosen the

 

 

depth adjustment screw. See figure 20.

 

3.

Position the back canes at the desired angle.

 

4. Reinstall the angle adjustment screw and tighten

5. Repeat on the other side of the wheelchair.

 

Seatback Height Adjustment

 

You can adjust the seatback to five different heights

BACK CANE

ranging between 12-16 in. (30.48-40.64 cm) or 15-19 in.

 

(38.1-48.26 cm), depending on the back cane size. The

 

adjustment range is 4 in. (10.16 cm) in 1-in. (2.54-cm)

 

increments. See figure 21.

WASHERS

 

WARNING! If your wheelchair is

 

equipped with a transit securement

 

system, the seatback height should

 

only be adjusted by a Quantum Rehab

 

Provider or a qualified technician.

NUTS

 

To adjust the seatback height:

1. Remove the screws, nuts, and washers that fasten

2. Slide the back canes up or down to the desired

3. Use the screws, nuts, and washers to refasten the
