Frame Separation

1.Arrange the front wheel(s) in a straight for- ward-facing position.

2.Lower the tiller.

NOTE: The pivoting tiller is equipped with a mechanism that will lock the front wheels in place when the tiller is completely lowered and secured.

3.Grasp and lift up on the frame release lever. See figure 21.

4.Lift the front section up until the frame hooks of the front section separate from the rear sec- tion. See figure 22.

5.Slowly separate the two sections. See figure 22.

ASSEMBLY

1.Position the front and rear sections of your scooter as shown in figure 22.

2.Use the frame release lever to lift the front section as you align the frame hooks of the front section with the lower frame tube of the rear section. See figure 21.

3.Once the frame hooks are over the lower frame tube, lower the front section com- pletely. This will engage the frame lock.

4.Raise the tiller.

5.Connect the front-to-rear cable.

6.Reinstall the battery spacers if applicable.

See figure 23.

7.Reinstall the batteries to the battery wells.

8Connect both battery harnesses. See figure 20.

9.Secure the battery tie-down strap.

10.Reinstall the battery shroud.

11.Reinstall the seat and rotate it into place.
