CONSOLA DEL MANILLAR

En la consola del manillar están ubicados todos los controles necesarios para manejar el scooter: cerradura de contacto, palanca aceleradora, claxon, regulador de velocidad e indicador de batería (fig. 5).

¡PROHIBIDO! No deje que la consola se humedezca. Si la consola estuviera humedecida, espere hasta que se seque completamente antes de manejar el scooter.

Cerradura de contacto

Introduzca la llave en la cerradura de contacto y gírela en sentido horario para encender el scooter. Gírela en sentido contrario a las agujas del reloj para apagar el scooter.

Aunque puede dejar la llave en la cerradura de contacto con el scooter apagado, le recomendamos quitarla para evitar cualquier uso no autorizado de su scooter.

¡ADVERTENCIA! Si mueve la llave a la posición “off” con el scooter en movimiento, activará los frenos electrónicos y el scooter se detendrá bruscamente.

Palanca de aceleradora

Con esta palanca podrá controlar la velocidad marcha adelante y atrás del scooter, dentro de los límites fijados por usted con el regulador de velocidad.

Coloque la mano derecha en el puño derecho del manillar y la izquierda en el izquierdo.

Con el pulgar derecho, presione la parte derecha de la palanca para desactivar los frenos del Travel Scooter y empezar a avanzar.

Suelte la palanca hasta que el scooter se detenga completamente, y pulse la parte izquierda de la palanca para dar marcha atrás.

Al soltar el acelerador, éste vuelve automáticamente a la posición central de “stop”, activando los frenos del Travel Scooter.

Claxon

Activa el claxon de advertencia. El claxon sólo funcionará con el scooter encendido. No dude en utilizar el claxon como señal de advertencia ante cualquier riesgo de accidente o lesión.
