Para cargar las baterías de forma segura con el cargador externo:

NOTA: El paquete de baterías puede cargarse dentro o fuera del scooter.

1.Coloque el scooter cerca de una toma de corriente estándar de pared (fig. 10).

2.Saque la llave de la cerradura de contacto.

3.Compruebe que la palanca esté en el modo conducción.

4.Enchufe el conector de 3 contactos al puerto del cargador del scooter, y luego enchufe el cable de alimentación a la toma de corriente de pared. Le recomendamos que deje cargando las baterías durante 8 a 14 horas.

NOTA: Los indicadores LED en el cargador indican los diferentes estados de carga en cada momento. Para saber más sobre estos indicadores, consulte el manual de instrucciones suministrado con el cargador.

5.Cuando las baterías se hayan cargado totalmente, desenchufe el cable de alimentación del cargador de la toma de corriente eléctrica y luego de la toma del scooter.

NOTA: El scooter dispone de un bloqueador del cargador. Ni el scooter ni el indicador de batería funcionarán mientras se estén cargando las baterías.

¿Cómo funciona el cargador?

Cuando el nivel de voltaje de las baterías es bajo, el cargador trabaja más duro, enviando más corriente eléctrica a las baterías para llenarlas. Cuando están casi totalmente cargadas, el cargador envía cada vez menos corriente eléctrica. Una vez cargadas completamente, la corriente enviada por el cargador baja hasta un amperaje cercano al cero. Por ello, cuando el cargador está enchufado, mantiene el nivel de carga de las baterías de su scooter, pero sin sobrecargarlas. Sin embargo, no le recomendamos que deje cargando las baterías durante más de 24 horas consecutivas.

¿Por qué no consigo cargar las baterías de mi scooter?

Compruebe que el fusible del paquete de baterías esté en buenas condiciones.

Compruebe que ambos extremos del cable de alimentación del cargador estén bien conectados.
