The exhaust filter cartridge must be replaced when dirty.

Replace the filter when the entire surface area is covered evenly.

The filter CANNOT be washed as it will lose its dust trapping ability.

Pull up on the exhaust filter cover.

Grasp the exhaust filter and pull out to remove.

Replace the exhaust filter cartridge, carefully positioning it so that the airflow direction indicated on the filter cartridge matches the direction indicated on the vacuum cleaner.

Close the exhaust filter cover until it snaps into place.
