The attendant must always be certain the wheelchair passenger or standee is properly positioned on the platform (fully inside yel- low boundaries) and the wheel- chair brakes are locked when a passenger is on the lift platform.

The lift passenger must keep hands, arms and all other body parts within the lift occupant area and clear of all moving parts.

Vehicle (Floor Level) Loading and Unloading: The platform PXVWEHIXOO\UDLVHG DWÁRRUOHYHO  and the bridge plate must be properly positioned when loading or unloading passengers in or out of the vehicle. It is the respon- sibility of the lift attendant to ensure the platform and the bridge plate are properly posi- WLRQHGDWÁRRUOHYHOZKHQORDG- ing and unloading passengers.

WARNING

Whenever a passenger is on the platform, the:

Passenger must be positioned fully inside yellow boundaries

Wheelchair brakes must be locked

Inner roll stop and outer barrier must be UP

Failure to follow these rules may result in serious bodily injury and/or property dam- age.
