NOTE: - As you scroll through the ringer settings, the phone emits the corresponding ringer tone level accordingly.

- If you turn the ringer off, the display shows RINGER = OFF when the phone is in standby mode.

3.Press the ringer HI/LO/OFF button to store. If a change is made, you will hear a con- firmation tone, and SET RINGERTONE shows in the display.

4. Use the CID VOL(+) / CID VOL(-) arrow keys to select 1, 2, 3. Ringer tone 2 is the default.

NOTE: As you scroll through the ringer tone settings, the phone emits the corresponding ringer tone accordingly.

5.Press the ringer HI/LO/OFF button again to store. (if a change is made, you will hear a confirmation tone).

SYSTEM SETUP

There are four programmable menus available: Language, Area Code, Tone/Pulse Dialing and Default Setting.

NOTE: - To program these settings, the handset should be OFF (not in TALK mode).

- Press the TONE*/exit button to return to standby mode.

LANGUAGE

Set the display language to show messages in either English, French or Spanish.

1.Press flash/program button until SET LANGUAGE ENG FRA ESP shows in the display.

2.Use the CID VOL(+) / CID VOL(-) arrow keys to select ENG (English), FRA (French) or ESP (Spanish). English is the default.

3.Press the flash/program button to store (if a change is made, you will hear a confirmation tone).

LOCAL AREA CODE

1. Press flash/program button until SET AREA CODE - - - shows in the display with the first digit blinking.

2.Use the dial pad to enter your local area code.

3.Press the flash/program button to store (if a change is made, you will hear a confirmation tone).
