SPEAKER INDICATOR LIGHT

The speaker indicator light is lit when the speakerphone is ON, it flashes when the mute function is turned on.

CHARGE INDICATOR LIGHT

The charge indicator is lit when the handset is charging in the Charge charge cradle.

EXIT

Press the EXIT button to cancel any command you initiated, except turning the radio OFF. To turn the radio off, press the RADIO ON/OFF button.

DISPLAY BACKLIGHT

When the Spacemaker® is in idle mode, you may press and hold the EXIT button until the unit beeps to turn off the backlight of the display, press and hold again until the unit beeps to turn it back on.

CHANNEL BUTTON

While talking, you might need to manually change the channel in order to get rid of static. Press and release the channel/delete cid button to advance to the next channel. The current channel number appears on the left side of the display.

SPEAKERPHONE VOLUME

While talking, press the CID/VOL (+) or CID/VOL (-) buttons (up and down arrows) to adjust the speaker volume. There are eight volume levels. Press the up arrow (+) button to increase the volume level, while press the down arrow (-) button to decrease. The current volume level appears on the right side of the display. VOL 1 is the lowest level while VOL 8 is the loudest.

MIC MUTE

Use the mute feature to have a private, off-line conversation. The party on the other end of the line cannot hear you, but you can still hear them.

1.When the speakerphone is ON, press the mic mute button to activate the mute function.

2.MUTE flashes on the right side of the display, and the speaker indicator light flashes.

3. Press mic mute button again to cancel mute and return to your phone conversation.
