ANSWERING MACHINE OPERATION

This section discusses the buttons

and features on the answering machine.

MESSAGES COUNTER

The MESSAGES counter shows how many new messages you have. The ANSW ON/ OFF button must be on in order for the MESSAGES counter to work.

You can screen incoming calls by waiting for
the caller to begin leaving a message (to	PLAY/
hear who it is), then pick up the handset, and	STOP
press PHONE to talk to the caller. The	button
press PHONE to talk to the caller. The
answering machine automatically stops
recording when you activate the handset or
pick up an extension phone.

TIP: Make sure the volume on the base is set loud enough to hear your incoming calls.
