Note: If your phone system requires that you dial an access code (9, for example) before you dial an outside number, do not press the access code either.

If the dial tone stops, you have touch-tone service. Leave P∙ ∙T set to T.

If the dial tone continues, you have pulse service. Set P∙ ∙T to P (pulse).

4.To hang up, either place the hand- set on the base or press TALK on the handset.

TURNING THE BASE’S RINGER OFF/ON

To turn off the base’s ringer, set RING- ER on the back of the base to OFF. When a call comes in, any phone con- nected to the same line as the TAD- 1015 and the handset (if it is off the base) still ring, but the base does not.

When you want the base to ring again, set RINGER to ON.
