Installation of your ClearSounds® CSC1000 Amplified

Freedom Phone™ with Full ClearDigital™ Power is easy. There are some basic steps you need to take when you set-up your phone for the first time.

1. PARTS CHECKLIST

Check the contents of the box - The CSC1000 should contain:

1.Handset and handset cord 2.Phone base

3.Telephone line cords (one 6 inch and one 6 ft cord)

4.AC Adapter (7.5V/500mA)

5.Wall plate adapter 6.User’s Manual 7.Photo Template

2.PRE-SELECT AUXILIARY FEATURES: If you plan on mounting your phone on the wall, you may want to consider setting up the Amplification Override Switch (page 15) and Ringer Switch (pages 16-17).

3.PHONE INSTALLATION

The phone should be located in an area where it is easy to see the visual display and lighted ringer. Choose an area near a telephone wall jack (RJ11C) and power outlet. The telephone may be placed on a shelf or table or may be fixed to the wall using the wall plate adapter (mounting bracket). To avoid
