Message Playback from Base Unit

To play messages, press the PLAY/STOP button on the base.

While a message is playing, you can do the following:

Press the PLAY/STOP button to stop the message playback.

Press and release the REVIEW button to restart the current message; continue to press and release the REVIEW button to go to previous messages.

Press and release the NEXT button to go to the next message.

Press the PLAY/STOP button to stop message playback.

Memory Full

When the memory is full, the system answers after 10 rings. You should erase some messages so the answering system can record new messages. The memory has a total recording time of 15 minutes (this includes the outgoing announcement, incoming messages, and voice time/date stamp).

Erasing Messages

You may erase messages three ways: one message at a time using the DELETE button on the base; all previously played messages using the DELETE button on the base; or one message at a time using the erase button (the 0 key) on the handset or a phone in another location.

To erase a message that is playing, press and release PLAY/STOP and then press and release DELETE on the base to erase the message.

To erase all previously played messages:

1.Make sure the phone is OFF (not in talk mode).

2.Press and hold the DELETE button on the base. ERASE ALL PLAYED MSG? shows on the display.

3.Press the DELETE button again to confirm. ALL PLAYED MSG ERASED shows on the display.

To erase a message from the handset:

1.Press the FORMAT/answerer button on the handset.

2.Press the PLAY/STOP button on the handset (the 2 key).
