Display Messages

The following indicators show the status of a message or of the unit.

BLOCKED NUMBER

The person is calling from a number that has been blocked

 

from transmission.

DELETE?

Prompt asking if you want to erase one of the 10 numbers

 

stored in the phone’s outgoing memory.

DELETE ALL?

Prompt asking if you want to erase all Caller ID records.

DELETE CALL ID?

Prompt asking if you want to erase the current Caller ID record

 

that is shown on the display.

END OF LIST

Indicates that there is no additional information in Caller ID

 

memory.

ENTER NAME

Prompt telling you to enter the name in one of the 10 memory

 

locations.

ERROR

Caller information has been interrupted during transmission or

 

the phone line is excessively noisy.

LINK HANDSET?/

Prompt asking if there is a need to re-register the cordless

LINK BASE?

handset with the base or assign a new code for the system in

 

case of lost link.

NEW

Indicates call or calls have not been reviewed.

NO BATTERY

No battery is installed in the handset or the battery is not

 

properly connected to the battery jack inside the battery

 

compartment.

NO DATA

No Caller ID information was received.

PAGING

Someone has pressed the page/intercom button on the base

 

or handset.

REPT

Repeat call message. Indicates that a new call from the same

 

number was received more than once.

UNKNOWN CALLER

The incoming call is from an area not serviced by Caller ID or

 

the information was not sent.

WAITING HANDSET/

Prompt telling you to enter registration mode of handset.
