Keyboard Status indicates whether the keyboard is in alpha, caps lock alpha, or numeric modes.

Alpha mode, lower case (CAPS lock off).
Alpha mode, upper case (CAPS lock on).
Numeric mode.

When Keyboard Status is enabled, the indicator icon appears in the Command bar at the bottom of the screen.
