Receiving calls

When you receive a call, the

 

 

 

handset will ring the selected ringer

to answer the call or, if the handset is on the

If you have subscribed to your network’s Caller Display service, the caller’s number, or name (if an exact name/number match is found in the phonebook) will be displayed, see page 31 for more information.

Call timer

Your handset automatically times the duration of all calls, showing the time on the display from 10 seconds after dialling to 3 seconds after the call ends.

Auto-answer

If you have switched auto-answer off (see page 44) then you will need

to press after lifting the handset to take the call.

Handsfree calling

Handsfree lets you talk to your caller without holding the handset. It also enables other people in the room to listen to both sides of your conversation.
