Safety Instructions For Batteries

CAUTION: Risk of explosion if battery is replaced by an incorrect type. Dispose of used batteries according to the instructions.

1.Use only the approved battery pack in the handset of your cordless phone.

2.Do not dispose of the battery in a fire as it may explode. Check with local codes for possible special disposal instructions.

3.Do not open or mutilate the battery. Released electrolyte is corrosive and

may cause damage to the eyes and skin. It may be toxic if swallowed.

4.Exercise care in handling batteries in order not to short the battery with con- ducting materials such as rings, bracelets and keys. The battery or conduction material may overheat and cause burns.

5.Charge the battery (ies) provided with or identified for use with this product only in accordance with the instructions and limi- tations specified in this manual.

6.Observe proper polarity orientation between the battery pack and the battery charger.
