Base Unit LEDs*

	LED	Description
	in use	On when the phone is off-hook or when an
	in use	extension phone is off-hook
		extension phone is off-hook

	charge	On when the handset is charging in its base

		Flashes when there are new messages in the
	mailbox 1,	corresponding mailbox
	2, 3	Solid when only old messages are in the
		corresponding mailbox

		Turns on when the answering system is on

*The charge-only bases have only the Charge LED
