6. Personal settings

Using the feature menu, you can customize many of the telephone’s settings.

1.Press Pwhen in idle mode (when the phone is not in use) to enter the feature menu.

2.Use ,to scroll to the feature to be changed. When

scrolling through the menu, the top menu item is always highlighted with a > symbol.

3.Press Pto select the highlighted item.

NOTE

Press >to cancel an operation, back up to the previous menu or exit the menu display. Press and hold >to return to idle mode.

6.1Set date and time

Provided you have subscribed to your network’s caller ID service, the date and time will be set automatically with every incoming call, but you may still need to set the correct year so that the day of the week can be calculated from the caller ID information.

1.Press Pwhen in idle mode to enter the feature menu.

2.Press ,to scroll to >DATE & TIME.

3.Press Pand then edit the date.

4.Press Pand edit the time in 12hr format.

TIPS

Press ,to move the cursor left or right. Press #to toggle AM/PM settings, wherever the cursor blinks.

5.Press Pto save.

6.2Setup Handset

6.2.1Ringer volume

Using this menu, you can set the ringer volume level (1-6), or turn the ringer off. When the ringer is turned off, appears on the handset screen. The volume setting applies to both HOME and CELLULAR calls.

To adjust the RINGER VOLUME:

1.Press Pwhen in idle mode to enter the feature menu.

2.Press ,to scroll to >SETUP HS.

3.Press Pto select >RINGER VOLUME.
