Changing Between Handset, Headset & Speakerphone During a Call

Any of the audio devices (Handset, Headset and Speakerphone), can be used during a call but only one of the audio devices can be used at a time. Both the speakerphone and the handset cannot be used at the same time.

The handset does not need to be placed out of the cradle to use the speakerphone or headset function.

To use the speakerphone, press the “Speakerphone” button at any time during the call. The speakerphone button is on the bottom left of the phone. Picking up the handset turns off the speakerphone. To reactivate the speakerphone, press the speakerphone button. It is labeled with an icon depicting a speaker.

To use the headset, press the “Headset” button at any time during the call. The headset button is on the bottom row and the far left. It is labeled with an icon depicting a headset. Picking up the handset turns off the headset. To reactivate the headset, press the headset button.

The user can also move from the speakerphone to the headset, or visa-versa by pressing the respective buttons when desired.
